There are several vocational education courses throughout Galway city and county. They include VEC courses, National learning Network courses, and FAS courses. Most of these courses are certified by FETAC or City and Guilds and are nationally and internationally recognised. Disabled people in Galway city and county can avail of these educational opportunities.

The Galway City VEC offers a broad educational services both at second level and at third level, including

These courses are certified by FETAC and are natonally and internationally recognised. They help improve one's employment prospects and also enable one to progress to do advanced degrees in third level institutions. VEC also has a wide network of Adult and Community Education Centres, Literacy schemes, Outdoor Education, VTOS, Youthreach, and Traveller Training programmes throughout Galway city.

These courses are certified by FETAC and are natonally and internationally recognised. They help improve one's employment prospects and also enable one to progress to do advanced degrees in third level institutions. VEC also has a wide network of Adult and Community Education Centres, Literacy schemes, Outdoor Education, VTOS, Youthreach, and Traveller Training programmes. The Committee operates twelve Vocational Schools in the county administrative area, six in the Gaeltacht area - of which three are Island Schools.
