There are a number of employment laws which protect the rights of all workers, including disabled workers. Discrimination in hiring, in the workplace and in career advancement, and cases of unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, bullying and harassment etc. are all covered by employment laws. These are designed to protect peoples rights, and their dignity as a human being. We have provided a listing of these laws below. We have also provided a dynamic link-in to the Galway Advocacy Service which can assist a disabled person with any difficulties they are having in employment matters. There is also a link-in to the Equality Authority who are also of some assistance.
